Buckles:- How to use them with Sashes

Please refer to Sashes?

1.         Utilizing the following Si-Si Buckles:

Bling Pink                     YR-JEW;

Bling Peacock              UR-PEA;

Golden Eye                  ET-F5.

These three Buckles are designed to enable you to thread the Napa Sashes through them without damage, since no holes are necessary.  Keep in mind, that the Buckles may be worn on the outer side, the front or the back of the ankle.

The ends of the narrow Sashes may be slipped:

1.a)      each side  under the outer edge of the Buckle, from back to front and knotted in   front of the bar, pushing each end back through the hole closest at the bottom end of the Buckle and let the ends peep from underneath the Buckle; or

1.a.i)    slip underneath sides around ankle;

1.a.ii)    as a) above, but once knotted, do not push ends through completely.  Merely push             each tip through slightly and let the remainder form a posy on the top side of the             Buckle, over the knot.

2.         Utilizing the following Si-Si Buckles, ignoring the pin so as to protect the Sheep Napa Sashes:

Bling Tear Drop            YR-YLX;

Bling Olympic               SA-BTXB397.

These two Buckles are designed to enable you to either thread the Sashes through them without damage, or to tie one end to the back bar, fasten with Velcro and hook the pin through the other end, through a hole.  Now pull the tail end of the belt back, gathering the soft Napa both at the top, with one hand and bottom with the other hand, as is being illustrated on the Wide Golden Sash.

The ends of the narrow Napa Sashes may be slipped:

2.a)      both ends together from top over bar at back of Buckle, and knotted at bottom of bar, back of Buckle leaving ends to flow down. (However, should the knot slip through, due to the opening of the bar being too large, you may want to slip the heel end from top over bar, between back of Buckle, toe end from bottom under bar, over top and knotted at bottom bar of Buckle leaving ends to flow down.);

2.a.i)    as a) above, but after knotting, take ends, one at a time from different sides and twirl from under over back of Buckle, each from closest outer side and knot above Buckle;

 2.a.ii)   as a) above, but after knotting, take ends, one at a time from different sides and twirl from top under back of Buckle, each from closest outer side and knot underneath Buckle at the bottom.
